GROUND BEEF PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Ground Beef Production Supervisor

Manage and supervise hourly employeesResponsible for the motivation and safety of those employeesPrepare pre-operational paperworkEnsure area is properly staffed/crewed to meet operational needsCoach and develop employees to obtain resultsResponsible for meeting volume goals, reducing claims, maximizing yields, reducing cost and employee retentionMaintains good working relationships with the Union, USDA and Maintenance employees

  Requirements:

Two years supervisory experience preferred in a food manufacturing/meat processing setting preferredAbility to work a Monday through Friday including weekends when neededAbility to work a second shiftAbility to work in a cold fast paced environmentAbility to stand and walk for long periods of timeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer skills
