The Ground Flight Observer Tech 1 position at Libby Army Airfield involves acting independently to ensure the safety and security of airspace during ground taxi and local flight operations of the Gray Eagle UAS. The role requires maintaining visual situational awareness of airfield conditions and communicating effectively with the Unmanned Aircraft operator to prevent any potential breaches of security or safety during flight operations. **Responsibilities** + Monitors access to airspace and report intrusion to Mission Commander + Ensures the airspace is clear of unannounced aircraft during ground taxi and local pattern flight operations of the Gray Eagle UAS.
