Come join our Salt Lake City, UT Team!** **SkyWest employees enjoy a distinctive and unmatched culture of teamwork, respect, quality, and professionalism, along with world-class benefits such as:** + 401(k) match + Performance Rewards and Profit Sharing + Health care - medical, dental, and vision + Worldwide flight benefits for you and your family with all four of our airline partners; Alaska, American, Delta, and United **Primary Job Duties** **This is a full-time position.** **As a GSE Parts Technician, you will be responsible for keeping parts inventory on hand to support our mechanics.** + Data entry into fleet maintenance program “Fleet Focus” + Parts purchasing for GSE shops + Compile and analyze departmental parts usage data + Work with vendors on parts pricing + Ship, receive and transfer parts in Fleet Focus and parts room + Pick up, package and deliver parts when needed + Inventory parts in GSE Shops + Maintain cleanliness and order of parts room + Keep travel trailer stocked with parts needed for annual station visits + Run weekly/monthly/annual parts reports + Approve and investigate invoices in accounting system + Order and stock GSE shop with misc. office and shop supplies + Other responsibilities assigned by management **Minimum Requirements** + Be 18 years or older + Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued driver’s license + Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship + Automotive and parts experience + Excellent organization skills + Able to work independently and in a team environment + Positive attitude, self-motivated, quick learner, and team player + Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts and extended shifts + Travel as needed + Current SkyWest employee must be in good standing with the Company **Preferred Skills:** + Knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word + Ground service equipment knowledge + This is a full-time position, starting at $18.50 to 23.50 an hour, depending on experience **Physical and Other Requirements** + Ability to lift 50+ pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation SkyWest is committed to maintaining a working environment of satisfying employment and mutual respect for all of our employees, regardless of race, color, national ancestory, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, national origin, religion, medical condition, disability, pregnancy, age or military status.
