Job Overview The incumbent is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the powered and non-powered Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) as well as other ground support.  Work Model: Onsite Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include in-depth repair as required on powered and non-powered ground support equipment. Reviews maintenance records to ensure equipment is fully operational in support of daily equipment requirements. Uses an assortment of basic hand tools in addition to precision measuring devices for troubleshooting and repairs. Works from complex written instructions such as formal test specifications, blueprints, drawings, schematics, technical data and manuals. Completion of GSE paperwork as required. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Job Requirements Essential Duties & Job Functions: Formal Training in aircraft maintenance. AF Maintenance Specialist Course (APG- Airplane General), or the civilian equivalent. Training requirements may be satisfied through AETC in-resident classes, Training Detachment, Maintenance Training Flight, Mobile Training Team, AF Institute of Technology, Career Develop Course, AF Engineering and Technical Services, civilian institutions, Computer Based Training, Video Tele-Training, Regional Training Centers, Maintenance Qualification Centers, or any combination thereof. Clear Red-X aircraft forms entries. Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional and courteous manner in diversified situations.
