Basic Function – Responsible for providing maintenance services for holding lot and facilities to ensure a safe, clean and environmentally friendly working environmental for all personnel and authorized participants.  Individual must be able to perform with minimum supervision. 

 

Responsibilities

 

Maintain daily cleanliness (e.g. sweep and mop floors, empty trash and clean surfaces) of all facilities, including:Primary and secondary building structures at holding lotHolding lot restrooms (clean, service and disinfect)Driver rest area and officesHolding lot parking / queuing / circulation areasMaintain grounds, including:Clearing snowTrimming shrubbery and grassSanding or salting, as necessary during inclement weatherIdentify minor facility repairs including fixture / bulb replacementsAdvise Supervisor of any facility maintenance and safety related issuesOccasionally perform cleaning and maintenance services at Terminal booth areas;Courteously assist fellow workers and customersComplete other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

Salary Range:  $18.50-$19/hr

Education/Experience:  High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education. 

 

License Requirement:  Only be required to have and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record, if the individual is expected to be able to drive a company vehicle or drive on company business. 

 

Availability to Work:  Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs.  If applicable, availability to work 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be a requirement.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers and to communicate with customers and fellow employees. The employee is required to work outside in varying weather conditions (cold, rainy, snowy, harsh, hot, humid).  The employee is frequently required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stand or walk for long periods of time (up to 8 hours). The employee is also frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. In addition, the employee is required to of twist, turn, stretch, and bend on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly. The employee must be able to move in a relatively quick manner.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.  The employee must be able to withstand working with dust, chemicals and other possible irritants and work in extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, cold, heat).
