The Grounds Maintenance Worker - Seasonal reports to the Parks Field Supervisor . The primary job duties of this position include: + Performs turf maintenance cultural practices utilizing motorized equipment. + Performs mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, cultivation, fertilization, watering and pruning operations + Performs general landscape and cleanup duties, including trash and debris removal, graffiti removal and litter pickup. + Performs tree maintenance utilizing chainsaws, stump grinders pole saws and chippers. + View the full job description. In addition to possessing the ability to live out our core and functional values daily, candidates must possess the following requirements: + High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.). + Six months previous experience and/or training in grounds maintenance, athletic field maintenance, irrigation system maintenance, equipment operation and manual labor. + Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work. This position requires a pre-employment physical and/or drug screen. This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation. This is a part-time seasonal position which typically works between 10 and 19 hours weekly. Applications are reviewed on a weekly basis.
