Are you ready to make your mark?  If you're a Grounds Maintenance Technician, we have an exciting opportunity available for you. This role involves performing a range of tasks related to grounds and plant maintenance.

What You Will Be Doing 

Maintains grounds by picking up trash, sweeping and maintaining the garden shop.Checks maintenance areas daily.Performs yard maintenance by mowing, edging, fertilizing, spraying, weed eating, pruning and trimming trees/shrubs as well as planting them.Operates and maintains irrigation systems.Maintains grounds in inclement weather by plowing/shoveling snow in lots and drives including the removal of debris.Supervises summer recruits and part time members.

What We Are Looking For 

High School Diploma required.Strong mechanical and/or electrical equipment background required.Ability to communicate with others in writing and verbally.Ability to learn to maintain yard maintenance equipment and irrigation systems.Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.Ability to learn basic computer applications in order to run systems, such as irrigation controllers.Driver's license is needed.
