Job Summary

Responsible for performing a variety of general, mechanical and preventative maintenance duties as well as inspections, servicing, repair and overhaul of equipment and facilities of the hospital.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in horticulture; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. This position requires you to be 18 years of age or older.

Certification/Licensure/Registrations

License to apply lawn chemicals preferred.  This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier. 

 Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks Every fifth weekend Every fifth holiday

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$19.00 - $23.50 per hour
