This position will support the Defence Contract for delivery of Estate Management and Operations Services (EMOS) contract to the Department of Defence SNSW & QLD region. The Groundsperson is part of the team responsible for the operational day to day delivery of the Land Management services

Vehicle and valid Open Class Drivers LicenceMedium Rigid Truck Licence (preferred)Chainsaw Operators Licence or certificate (preferred)ChemCert Certificate (preferred)Ability to obtain and retain a Defence security clearance Australian Citizenship MandatoryAsbestos Awareness Certificate (preferred)

    The role will deliver a range of services including but not limited to:

Ensuring all work completed is to the standard required of the contractEnsure all equipment is maintained and is in safe working orderOperate all equipment/machinery in a safe mannerEnsure PPE is used for required tasking

General tasks may include, however is not limited to the following: 
 MowingBrush cuttingEdgingPruningGeneral gardeningGreen waste clearing and removalWeed, Pest & Disease control
 Demonstrable experience in grounds maintenance and experience in operating grounds maintenance equipmentAble to perform inherent physical requirements of the roleSuitability for Defence security clearance Australian citizenship mandatory
