Group 37 - Summer Research Program Intern (Advanced Undersea Systems and Technology)
Job Description

 

The Advanced Undersea Systems and Technology Group seeks a summer intern to assist in a variety of tasks associated with undersea systems. Potential areas of work include signal processing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, data assimilation, ocean science and autonomy. Tasks are likely to include system modeling, scientific programming, creation of simulation tools, and performance analysis. 

 

The successful candidate will be pursuing a BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Oceanography or similar technical field. Experience with MATLAB is required.  Experience with modeling complex systems is desired.

 

Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
