Job Description

The Group Account Director handles group of accounts within the company. This role will supervise the team’s day-to-day activities on one or more brand assignments. Direct efforts of brand team and account executive(s) on the brand(s). Supervise the development of superior strategies, advertising plans and other integrated marketing communication initiatives/recommendations.

 

Serve as primary agency contact of mid-level client management.

Understands the essential dynamics, strategies and drivers of their client’s businessShapes and drives direction and activity on a given piece of business; recognizes and advances big ideasDemonstrates accountability for agency performance and flawless executionUses Agency resources creatively to support client’s businessForesees and identifies opportunities and formulates plans to manage and exploit them to drive the businessEnsures overall quality of work on their accountsManages client expectations, objectives, and timelinesRecognizes, works through and resolves conflict situations (internally and externally)Builds and maintains senior-level relationships at the client and within the agencyActs as a resource to team members in assessing ideas and directionsFacilitates own and other’s ideas from development to presentation to executionCoaches, involves, and inspires the growth and development of junior Agency staffReaches beyond their scope of work and seeks input from multi-discipline sources

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or a related fieldMaster’s in business administration a plusMore than 10 years of relevant experience, agency experience highly recommendedKnowledge of experiential marketing industryHighly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Excel and PowerPointExcellent writing, copy editing, and general communication skillsHigh level of detail-orientation and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
