Group Accountant

Responsibilities:
As our Group Accountant, you will:
• Take charge of month-end processes, act as a specialist in IFRS16 and Capex, support SOX testing, and drive procedural enhancements through innovative solutions and automation.
• Provide guidance and support to our finance team and business operations on corporate accounting matters. Conduct thorough research on accounting standards and legal compliance to uphold best practices.
• Oversee month-end closing procedures, offer technical advice on accounting inquiries, and collaborate with project managers to accurately track budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain uniformity in accounting procedures across the organization, supervise internal financial controls, and support external audits.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements, leveraging your deep understanding of accounting procedures and systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance. CPA or CA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years in a similar accounting role, with extensive knowledge of financial reporting, IFRS standards, and experience in driving process improvements.
