Position Responsibilities:
As an external Group Benefit Account Executive - Client Manager (51+ life employer groups) the successful candidate will be accountable for:
Expanding sales growth and advisor relationships in the Eastern group benefits market.Working with the Advisor and our Underwriting/Service teams to acquire new clientsOptimizing delivery of value-added products and services;Promoting Manulife Financial group insurance products and services;The ideal candidate has a passion for winning and being part of a dynamic and constantly evolving sales environment. They can work autonomously but also able to collaborate as part of a larger sales team.
Manulife Account Executives are rewarded with a competitive compensation model which includes base salary plus variable compensation, share ownership, pension, and flex benefits.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree (in business or related field)Ideally, 3-5 years Group Benefits sales experience and CEBS - GBA DesignationPreferred Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills, including proficiency at making and holding presentations.Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong negotiation skillsStrong organizational skillsStrong math skillsProfessionalism & IntegrityValid driver’s licenseBilingual (French & English) is required - The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
