Group Benefits Sales Intern
Job Location: Boston, (MA), Chicago, (IL), Irvine, (CA), Overland Park, (KS), McLean, (VA), Atlanta, (GA) & New York, (NY). This is Your Opportunity To: * Assist business units by performing various assigned duties that are intended to provide experience and build sales skills for future development * Get an insider view of career potential within a high performing culture * Strengthen business acumen & develop sales skills * Develop personally and professionally with a customized intern curriculum * Build a network of peers and mentors in a business-to-business sales environment * Gain exposure to products and services within Group Benefits * Participate in social activities and networking events * Interview for a sales trainee position upon completion of the program Key Responsibilities: * Complete weekly curriculum training * Collaborate on an intern-lead Capstone Project * Participate in customer meetings * Learn functions and uses of technology to support the salesforce and business * Present Capstone project to an audience of peers, managers and senior leadership * Perform duties supporting the sales organization as assigned or required Required Qualifications * Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills * Strong computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel) * Excellent interpersonal skills, communications skills and leadership qualities * Motivated team player with sound judgment and problem-solving skills * Proven ability to lead and influence * Must be eligible to work in US without sponsorship * High school diploma * Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with an accredited college or university.
