-Position:First (1st) Shift Group Coordinator Lead

\n

-Shift: 6:00am –; 6:00pm, Thursday-Saturday

\n

-Pay:$21.00per hour.

\n

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate should also have the following:Production, Warehouse, General Labor, Line Operator, Forklift, Quality Control,Material Handler, Machine Operator, Loader/Unloader, Order Picker, Order Picking, Shipping, Outbound, RF, WMS, Reach Truck

\n

-Learn and manage the workflow and work duty allocation for team members within all departments of the facility to include: Put-Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping / Pack-out, Staging, Order Selecting areas.

\n

-Have 3+ years in a progressive role within a supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution environment as a Team Lead, Workflow Planner or other role that requires making decisions and leading other associates in their daily tasks.

\n

-Be responsible for training associates and work groups in daily tasks

\n

-At least 1 year experience safely operating Forklift equipment to include: High Reach truck, sit-down, stand-up, order picker is strongly preferred and given first preference

\n

-1+ year experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP.

\n

Role Purpose:

Responsible for assigning work schedules, training associates and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing. Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to work group. Responsible for daily workloads.

Key Accountabilities:

Conduct training for new associates.Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.Monitor performance of associates within the work group.Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.

Required Education and Experience:

6-12 months warehouse experience6-12 months forklift operation experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent, preferredForklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
