The Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for establishing group-wide processes that enable and support ABB’s value creation through planning, performance management, and the provision of actionable insights to business partners, Group leadership, and investors. Reporting to the Group FP&A Planning Lead, this position is based at ABB’s headquarters in Zurich or in our Krakow office.

In this role, you will be driving ABB’s group-wide planning processes, with an initial emphasis on the Annual Performance Plan (APP). You will ensure the readiness and alignment of planning tools, templates, and performance metrics, while preparing high-impact deliverables for senior leadership. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to ABB’s transformation journey by enhancing automation, streamlining planning processes, and integrating advanced capabilities such as AI.

Your Responsibilities

Coordinate Planning Cycles: Manage the timely and effective execution of ABB’s planning processes, focusing initially on the APP. Executive-Level deliverables: Develop and deliver high-quality planning outputs for senior management and provide guidance to finance business partners. Strategic KPI Alignment: Ensure consistent usage of performance metrics, aligned with strategic goals and business priorities. Tool & System Management: Oversee the readiness and functionality of group-wide planning applications, coordinating with both business and technical stakeholders. Process Optimization: Champion initiatives to simplify and enhance the efficiency of planning processes, with a focus on automation and innovation. Collaborative Execution: Partner with cross-functional teams including Business FP&A, Group FP&A Domains, and System specialists to deliver key initiatives.

Your qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a STEM discipline. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in finance roles, with a focus on financial planning. Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of financial planning systems and tools. Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing. Team Collaboration: Interpersonal skills that facilitate the formation of beneficial relationships between various functional teams.
