Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:
We are looking for a Group International Tax Director to join our office in Milan.
Reporting directly to the Group Admin & Tax Sr VP, you will coordinate a team of professionals ad HQ level and regional tax managers, as well as tax consultants to achieve these goals:
Analyze and optimize tax aspects of cross-border transactions, including transfer pricing and withholding tax applications.
Handle complex tax issues related to financing structures, new corporation incorporations, business startups, plant closures, mergers, and spin-offs.
Assess and manage tax implications for business activities conducted by legal entities in different countries, focusing on permanent establishment issues and withholding tax. Review and optimize tax rate of various entities and support the Group tax rate periodical review.
Oversee and support tax inspections in the legal entities in different countries to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Support M&A activities, including due diligence, structuring, SPA analysis, and consultant coordination.
Lead projects to minimize tax risks, especially in response to new EU/OECD regulations (e.g., DAC 6, Hybrid rules, BEPS Actions, Pillar II).
Provide guidance and training to the Group staff on international tax matters.
You are the right fit if you have/are:
Degree in Economics, Law, or a related field.
15-20 years of experience in domestic and international tax, ideally with a mix of tax consultancy and in-house roles.
Broad knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and M&A.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Strategic thinking, leadership skills, excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
