Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Research Leadership
Strategic Research Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive research strategy for E-Drive and Power Electronics, aligning with the company's long-term goals and market demands.Collaboration with CR global team and Bosch BUs: Actively engage with the Corporate Research global network and relevant Bosch business units to align research activities with strategic portfolios. Drive early identification of impactful topics by tracking the latest technological trends in China’s dynamic electrification market.Advanced Research Initiatives: Lead cutting-edge research projects focusing on innovative technologies and design methodologies to improve the performance, efficiency, and reliability of E-Drive and power electronic systems. Maintain strong collaboration with internal partners to ensure alignment with BU needs and secure positive feedback.Collaboration with Academic and Industry Partners: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with leading academic institutions, research organizations, and industry peers to stay at the forefront of technological advancements and collaborate on joint research projects.Technology Transfer: Facilitate smooth and effective transfer of research outcomes to product development teams. Ensure research deliverables are translated into practical applications that enhance current and future products.Team Management and Development
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a diverse and multi- disciplinary team of researchers, engineers, and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Performance Management: Set clear goals and expectations for team members, providing regular feedback and coaching to support their professional development and ensure high performance.Talent Acquisition and Development: Identify and attract top talent in the field of E-Drive and Power Electronics, and develop a robust talent pipeline through mentoring, training, and career development programs.QualificationsAdvanced Degree: Ph.D. or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.Industry Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the field of E-Drive and Power ElectronicsResearch Background: Proven track record of leading advanced research projects, with a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term research strategies that align with corporate goals and market trends.Team Leadership: Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of professionals.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, sales, and marketing
