Job Summary


We are looking for an energetic and creative Manager to lead Tender Management Team. This is PL6 role based out of Gurgaon. 


Responsibilities


Proven working experience in handling government/industry tenders and well versed with tender methodology/bid preparation & bid submission for government/industry projectsProspect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business                                                                                     Strong strategic bent and proactiveness to prepare the go-to-market strategy and to strategize the deal Technical know-how of High Voltage Substation Products and Solutions knowledgeThorough understanding of Power Transmission businessSite investigation, preparing logistics plan, Bulk materials source nearby and attending pre-bid meetings & seeking clarifications from clientsFloating enquiries, collection of offers and vendor negotiation, Analysis & Price comparison, updating costing worksGetting through the contract terms and conditions, liquidity damages, performance guarantee, milestone, bank guarantee requirements, payment terms and special conditions, taxes and dutiesTo identify risk and opportunity in the proposal pricing in order to mitigate inherent risk at tender submission stageReview and monitor the progress of Tenders, plan and strategize to achieve the targets Coordinating with internal departments for preparation of project construction plans & schedules, staffs, manpower & equipment deployments, organization charts and method statements and infrastructure requirementsSupport Bid engineers in making a comprehensive offer and work with them at different phases of order acquisition such as Bid / No Bids, Technical discussions, Discussions with Design, Strategic Sourcing, strategic alignment with internal partners/ other departments for competitive pricing, delivery slotsDirect engagement with customers for Presentations, Negotiations, Relationship building for closing of orders and for market feedbackEngaging with Sales Team for review of opportunities, offers, order lost analysisTo meet KRA of Order booking & profitability as per defined budgetAble to represent and resolve the tecno-commercial topics with the customers and internal partners Market analysis and forecast for strategic planning Business Development along with Sales regions/ICB Partners to discuss the opportunities pipelines available on short- and long-term basisTo prepare tender review information in order to ensure methodology, pricing and margin contingency are adequately adhered toPreparing of technical & commercial bids as per the tender requirementsPreparing Rate Analysis with logical risk factor pricingResponsible to lead a team. Coach and develop the team members to achieve their potential


 


Requirement

Professional with Qualification of B.E. (Electrical). Preferably MBA Marketing. Up to 10-15 years of successful experience in a directly related fieldLeadership abilities to inspire and motivate teams from different departmentsExcellent communication skills to effectively explain complicated technical ideas to both technical and non-technical individuals involved in the projectA forward-thinking mindset with a keen eye for emerging trends in Power Transmission industryTakes a data-driven and analytical approach to problem-solving, using quantitative and qualitative data to make well-informed decisionsHas a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish, while adhering to timelines and budgetsCandidate must have professional English written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills to communicate and interact effectively as a leader for the role and assigned responsibilities Candidate needs to critically monitor the milestones, anticipate the challenges ahead of time so that probable resolutions can be planned in advance and ensure the committed targets are delivered
