Our Exciting Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Legal Counsel to join Ericsson’s world-class legal team in Australia and New Zealand. Ericsson is a world leader in communications technology; providing hardware, software, and services to enable connectivity to its customers around the globe. The role will be part of the ANZA Legal Team which sits within the MOAI (Market Area Oceania, Asia and India) Legal Affairs Team and will report to the Head of ANZA Legal Affairs.
You will:
Structure, draft, review and negotiate complex commercial contracts with customers, suppliers and partners Provide legal advice and support to the business and management on various legal issues related to business operations including security, intellectual property, privacy, data protection and competition law Stay up to date on laws impacting the business of Ericsson in Australia and New Zealand and provide legal counsel on legal compliance and regulatory issues affecting Ericsson Work closely with the business including providing legal training Provide advice on and help manage litigation and disputesGrow with us
To be successful in the role you must:
Be qualified to practice law in Australia with 6+ years’ PQE in a top to medium tier law firm with in-house or secondment experienceBe fluent in English and eligible to work in AustraliaHave excellent verbal and written communication skillsHave good time management and organisational skills and be able to work proactively within tight time frames in a fast-paced environmentBe collaborative and well-rounded with great interpersonal skillsHave good business and commercial acumenBe curious and interested to learn about Ericsson’s technology and the evolving areas of law that impact Ericsson’s businessJoin our Team
