We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven leader to join our team as the Group Manager Transportation in Morgantown, WV. The Group Manager | Transportation is a dynamic leader with a servant leadership mindset that is responsible for cultivating a coaching culture and ensuring high standards in project execution and client satisfaction. 


Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Coaching: Inspire and coach group members to enhance our employee-owner culture and drive engagement in their professional development.Project Management: Ensure timely and superior project delivery while collaborating across service groups.Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships and satisfaction.Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, prioritize workloads, and ensure fiscal responsibility.Collaboration: Work closely with Operations and Service AVPs to address staffing, resource allocation, and operational efficiency. Requirements

  

Bachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringMaster’s Degree in Civil Engineering preferredWest Virginia P.E. License Minimum of 8 years of experience Project experience including:

              o Roadway design

              o Traffic impact studies

              o Transportation Related Structures (Retaining Walls)

              o Bridge Design (Steel/Timber/Concrete)

              o Structure Design

              o Intersection analysis and improvement

              o Traffic signal design

              o Specification writing and construction administration

Experience with WVDOH & PENNDOT and/or other agencies standards and requirementsExperience with transportation permits and processes, and/or bridge and structures designs, NBIS bridge inspection and rehabilitation plans and specifications, along with construction administration and inspection of bridge projects specific to West VirginiaProficiency with various transportation-related software, drafting software, and Microsoft Office Suite is requiredExperience in client relations, proposal preparation, project budgeting, and public presentationsAbility to build and maintain strong, collaborative teams, with a strong emphasis on coaching, mentoring, and fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills Flexibility to travel including overnight travel (on average 20-30%), thus a valid driver’s license is requiredLegal authorization to work in the U.S.
