Reporting to the Medical Head, the US Oncology Medical Affairs Group Medical Lead plays a pivotal role in channelling our scientific capabilities and strategy to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. Join us at our dynamic site in the greater DC Metro area in Gaithersburg, MD!

What You'll Do:Lead a team of Medical professionals to cultivate an environment of inclusion, shared goals, clear responsibilities, and continuous improvementIndependently oversee the development the iMAP and respective financial requirements to implement individual asset or tumour area plans within a specific disease areaOversee in the development and execution of the Medical Plan for Launch Readiness ReviewsDevelop the asset and/or indication strategy and ensure the deliveryCollaborate with HEOR to deliver Real World Evidence Projects across asset and tumour areasProvide training to enhance Field Medical team scientific skills in collaboration with Global MedicalRepresent the CMT recommended evidence needs and communicate to GMA in defining the ESE priorities for engagement at a congress levelComplete quarterly reviews at the Core Medical Team & the Franchise Head iMAP & financial reviewsSupport the Medical Lead in Promotional Materials Review Team to independently review assets & other content inputIndependently review ES budgets, concept & protocolLead the Advisory Board Strategy, planning, and executionMinimum Qualifications:Advanced Medical/Scientific degree with at least 5-7 years of Oncology experience, including a minimum of 3 years in an HQ Medical Affairs roleAbility to manage end to end Medical Affairs accountabilities for multiple indications within a disease areaEffective matrix leadership experience and partner managementExperience in evidence generation planning and clinical trial designExcellent communication and financial budget managementPreferred Qualifications:Doctorate degree (MD, PharmD or PhD) with specific Oncology Lung focusExtensive knowledge of the latest technical, regulatory, policy and patient–centric developmentsProduct Launch Experience and FDA requirementsExperience working in US market
