**General Summary:**
This position is responsible for the set-up and administration of all Colonial Life group products. This position will interact with Third Party Administrators, IT and other Home Office areas, as it relates to Colonial Life’s group products.
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Manage the Group Reference, Group Product Administration System (GPAS), Harmony Setup and the Millennium Underwriting System MUSE for all group products.
+ Ensure all Policy Rate Schedules are produced and mailed to the policyholder.
+ Provide detailed analysis of mainframe and Harmony systems to resolve underwriting system issues.
+ Monitor the daily reports and resolve any issues related to the daily eligibility file transfer to the Third Party Administrators.
+ Act as a liaison with counterparts at Third Party Administrators to resolve any service issues.
+ Lead the Anniversary process for all required group products and provide required reporting associated with the process.
+ Manage the Underwriting Queues and take appropriate action on pending files.
+ Assist Colonial Life’s Sales Organization, Home Office Employees or insured’s with questions or issues related to group products.
+ May perform other duties as assigned.

+ Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and corporate mainframe systems

+ Excellent knowledge of Colonial Life’s group products and underwriting guidelines
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.
$36,000.00-$68,000.00
Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not.
