Vivint Technology Group Product Manager

As a Group Product Manager in Vivint Technology (VT), you will lead a software product management team. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of software products, setting the strategic direction, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that drive business success. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing and mentoring Product Managers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining a strong focus on delivering a seamless user experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate a clear, long-term vision for the product portfolio, aligning with company goals and user experience needs Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a team of Product Managers. Set performance objectives, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business, Engineering, UX, and Program team to ensure alignment on product requirements, scope, and development processes.Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to post-launch. Ensure feature development aligns with the end-to-end user experience.Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of products, from conception through launch and beyond. Ensure features and enhancements align with the strategic vision and meet user needs.Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for products. Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders. Gather and integrate feedback to inform product development and strategy.Performance Management: Monitor and analyze product performance, use data-driven insights to guide improvements, and provide regular updates to senior management.

What You Will Do:

Define and implement the strategic direction for a diverse portfolio of software products.Guide and support a team of Product Managers to achieve their goals and drive product success.Ensure seamless coordination between engineering, UX, and business units for effective product delivery.Drive innovation and improvements in product features and performance based on market trends and user feedback.Monitor product performance and provide actionable insights for continuous enhancement.

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of leading product teams.Proven ability to manage the full product lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical skills and experience with performance metrics and KPIs.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Desired Certifications/Skills:

Certification in Product Management (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM) is a plusExperience with agile methodologies and toolsGeneral understanding of UX principles and best practices.
