Join our Group Functions team in Winterthur, Switzerland, as a PMO Manager, where you will manage and optimize the Group Program Management Office.
In this role, you will drive the efficient planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with Sulzer’s strategic goals. By implementing PMO frameworks, providing strategic oversight, and fostering collaboration, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing resources, monitoring performance, and delivering impactful results.

**Your main tasks and responsibilities:**
+ **PMO Management:**
+ Supporting the implementation & execution of PMO frameworks & processes.
+ **Strategic Alignment:**
+ Collaborating with senior management to align initiatives with strategic goals.
+ Supporting the definition and monitoring of the organization’s initiative portfolio to ensure value delivery.
+ **Performance Monitoring & Reporting:**
+ Tracking and fine-tuning indicators to measure initiative performance.
+ Delivering regular progress and health reports to senior leadership.
+ **Resource Management:**
+ Supporting teams in efficient resource allocation across initiatives.
+ Anticipating capacity constraints and proactively mitigating risks.
+ **Stakeholder Engagement:**
+ **** Facilitating cross-functional collaboration and communication.
+ Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership on initiative feasibility, prioritization, and resource needs.
**To succeed in this role, you will need:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
+ Certifications in program/initiative management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, or MoP) are advantageous.
+ 1–2 years of experience in project management, coordination, or related roles – within an industrial or engineering environment is preferred.
+ Solid familiarity with PMO and financial management (budgeting and cost tracking) functions and principles - exposure within a matrix organisation is a plus.
+ Strong communication, adaptability, and conflict resolution skills to foster collaboration.
+ Ability to align initiatives with goals, analyse data, and make evidence-based decisions.
