Group Sales and Event Manager

The **Group Sales & Event Manager** is a dynamic, client-focused role responsible for selling and servicing small group blocks, and social events. This position plays a key role in driving revenue, building relationships with clients, and ensuring seamless execution of events. The ideal candidate is both a strategic sales professional and a detail-oriented event planner who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Sales & Business Development:** Proactively sell group room blocks and social events, including social celebrations, and Holiday Parties. + **Client Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships with clients from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business. + **Event Planning & Execution** : Serve as the primary point of contact for booked events, managing all details from contract negotiation to event day execution. + **Collaboration & Coordination:** Work closely with banquets, operations, and revenue management teams to ensure seamless group and event execution. + **Contracting & Negotiation:** Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure all sales agreements align with hotel standards and revenue goals. + **Financial & Administrative Duties:** Monitor budgets, generate sales reports, and ensure accurate billing for group rooms and event services. + **On-Site Event Support:** Work closely with Banquets on food and beverage event logistics, ensuring seamless execution from setup to breakdown. Coordinate with culinary and banquet teams to guarantee menu accuracy, timely service, and exceptional guest experience. Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, addressing any last-minute requests and ensuring all event details align with expectations. + **Networking & Community Engagement:** Attend industry events, wedding shows, and local networking opportunities to generate new leads and drive sales.
