What You'll Do:
Achieve room night, meeting room, and F&B revenue targets through proactive sales efforts, including calls, site visits, and industry events.
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients such as corporate businesses, meeting planners, and tour operators.
Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
Prepare and send proposals, contracts, and correspondence in a timely manner.
Accurately confirm bookings, negotiate rates, and adhere to hotel policies.
Conduct detailed site inspections for potential group bookings.
Track contracts and payments to ensure deadlines are met.
Work closely with events, catering, and operations teams to ensure exceptional execution of group bookings.
Respond promptly to group inquiries and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and community functions.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
Prepare sales reports and participate in regular sales meetings.
Stay updated on industry trends and provide sales training to team members as needed.
What We Need from You:
Hotel group sales management experience required.
Minimum two years of experience in SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal) and/or Entertainment sales.
Strong knowledge of the local competitive market and key account opportunities.
Willingness to travel within North America for sales initiatives.
Diploma/degree in hospitality, business, or equivalent experience preferred.
Proficiency in Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with CI/TY, Knowland, and Topline is an asset.
