THE ROLE    

The Group Sales Representative is primarily responsible for generating new business through Group Sales, Premium Spaces and Season Ticket Memberships. This role is instrumental in reaching out to prospective clients for the purpose of developing and closing new sales in a high-volume sales environment.  Candidates should be passionate and willing to work independently within a team environment.  This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 1 or more years of sales experience (preferably in the Sports Industry) with a proven track record and desire to succeed within a dynamic and results-oriented environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for creating and executing group theme nights, fan experiences and group outings for San Diego FC Generate sales leads through self-prospecting Ability to handle a high volume of sales activity: 50-70 calls per day, booking 15-20 meetings per week Meet and exceed: Group, Suite, and Season Ticket sales goals Identify opportunities for upselling with current and prospective clients i.e. Group Ticket Sales. Respond in a timely manner to calls, inquiries and emails Maintain comprehensive records and accounting Develop client relationships to ensure long-term patronage Manage client-related issues in a calm, professional manner Attend networking events as needed Accurately and diligently maintains track of all customers and prospects through CRM Non-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays as necessary)

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree At least 1 Year of sport industry sales experience preferred  Strong communication and interpersonal skills — diplomatic, tactful, customer-focused with a professional phone manner and ability to interact with a variety of clients  Resourceful, conscientious and punctual Entrepreneurial spirit, energetic and outgoing personality with a proactive approach to work Desire to grow a fruitful career in attractions, sports and entertainment COMPENSATION

Competitive hourly rate of $20.00 and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
