Role Introduction

Reports to: Assistant Manager Group Security - Operations

This role is part of The Group Security - Operations team, dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of all personnel and assets at Hong Kong International Airport.

In this role, you will handle and investigate security incidents, compile detailed reports, and conduct quality control inspections of security service providers to meet regulatory requirements. You will implement measures to manage inadmissible passenger and illegal immigrant trafficking incidents while protecting the airline's assets and passenger properties.

You will gain experience in operational security functions and incident management. This position offers opportunities for significant contributions to safety and security.

Key Responsibilities
Discharge operational security functions to meet government and organizational requirementsHandle security incidents reported by staff and compile detailed incident reportsProvide data input regarding security incidents in the monitoring systemImplement preventive measures to minimize immigration infringements and fraudConduct quality control inspections of security service providers to ensure complianceSupport staff and crew while assisting in investigations of security incidentsReview and implement measures to protect company assets and passenger propertiesParticipate in anti-trafficking operations with local and international authoritiesRespond to requests from government authorities for passenger information related to investigationsManage the watch list systemsRequirements
Minimum HKCEE / HKDSE qualifications, with at least 5 subjects passed including English language, or equivalent.At least five years of experience in airport and airline servicesStrong command of spoken and written English and ChineseAvailability to work shift duties, including overnight shifts, and to travel on short noticeAbility to work independently and collaboratively with strong interpersonal skillsProficient problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesPrevious supervisory experience preferredValid full driving license is requiredFamiliarity with relevant IT applications is an advantageStrong organizational skills and attention to detailPersonal & Application Information
