Group Therapist

The group therapy therapist position primarily provides group therapy services to adult clients in the Outpatient Behavioral Health Group Therapy Program. The therapist is responsible for generating a group therapy schedule based on client needs/interests, facilitating these groups, and coordinating individualized treatment plans.  This therapist will also have a smaller individual therapy caseload. The therapist reports to the AVP Behavioral Health. The therapist works closely and in collaboration with other group therapy program staff.

Qualifications 

Master’s Social Work degree from accredited educational institutionCurrent LMSW, LISW, LMHC, or LMFT license with State of IowaKnowledge in crisis intervention techniques and brief therapyAbility to work cooperatively with a multi-disciplinary teamAbility to complete electronic charting and documentation

*Strongly prefer candidates who are FULLY/INDEPENDENTLY LICENSED.
