About the role
 
This role will commence in early March 2025. In this role, you'll take charge of promoting, selling, and managing group and event inquiries from the initial contact through to securing the contract. You’ll expertly qualify leads, showcase the hotel as the ideal venue for meetings and events, and cultivate strong customer relationships that drive repeat business. Specifically, your duties will include:

\n\nHandle groups, meetings and events inquiries professionally, turning leads into bookings while increasing revenue through upselling and smart pricing strategies.\nOrganise site visits, showcase hotel facilities, and build strong relationships to retain clients and exceed our sales goals.\nBuild lasting customer relationships by creating exceptional service and by hosting clients when needed\nAnalyse the competitive market and develop strategies to maintain the hotel's leading position in the local market \nSupport the Event Coordinator as required \n\n

What are we looking for?

\n\nProven experience in sales and event management is essential.\nA genuine passion for hospitality, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to finding the “YES” in every situation.\nExcellent organizational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong IT proficiency, including advanced knowledge of Excel and Word.\nCapable of staying focused and delivering results even under pressure.\n\n
