Growth Manager - Accounts & Payroll Job Description: Growth at Sage is accountable for leading the definition and execution or our revenue plans (the end-to-end execution plans that deliver our revenue) that achieve our growth targets. We do this through working together with Business Units to translate our global strategies and value propositions into regional revenue strategies, messaging etc. We then work together across GTM functions to design and lead the execution of our strategies, through our revenue plans, to achieve our targets. Through this we create clarity, alignment. We spot and mitigate/take advantage of risks and opportunities. We create positive drive, focus, simplicity, prioritisation and pace. This role is responsible for the creation and delivery of commercially effective product marketing strategies (both visionary and tactical execution) for HR & Payroll audience. The Product Marketing Manager will help drive the future growth of Sage through strategic thinking and analysis to understand the customer, market, eco-system and competitor landscape creating clarity around how we win. To do this will require significant focus on specific customer segments, and, vertical industries we want to serve and then focus on how to enable the plans through the region. The Senior Growth Manager is responsible for cross functional execution of Revenue Plans that support the overall ARR growth of £26.63m. This is achieved through: 1. Translating and localising our Business Unit strategy and propositions (as defined by Product Marketing) into regional revenue strategies. 2. Ensuring clarity and alignment across functions of what we want to achieve and how. 3. Leading across functions to build single, end-to-end execution plans that have high confidence for delivery of our revenue/growth targets, within our cost/margin targets. 4. Leading the end-to-end execution of the plans across functions including ensuring we are tracking performance, understanding risks and opportunities and adjusting the plan accordingly to mitigate or take advantage of these. 5. Using customer, market, competitor, performance and execution insights/learnings to influence and support the designing of Business Unit Strategy and propositions… in order to unlock even higher growth. Key Responsibilities: Skills, know-how and experience: 1. Experience in a customer and commercially led Product Marketing role with deep domain expertise and a track record of building and executing product and proposition growth strategies across multi-functional teams. 2. Experience of launching technology products in the cloud, to disrupt markets through innovative ideas balanced with market research against a strategic plan. 3. Strong knowledge of the market in the region and segment they own, which includes the business needs and challenges faced by customers, competitors in the space. 4. Experienced in product marketing methodologies combined with marketing/communications and ability to work with marketing and sales/channel teams. 5. Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level 6. Established experience launching successful products in highly competitive technology markets. 7. Passion for technology including Cloud, Social, Mobile, and Analytics in B2B and B2C, and Digital and social engagement 8. An exceptional collaborator. Adept at executing, collaborating, and influencing across a multi-cultural and matrix organization 9. Proven creative thinker that independently generates and executes on innovative marketing ideas.
