Who You Are
As the Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll help build and execute marketing campaigns that drive meaningful and quantifiable business impact across our target audience segments, with a focus on increasing user acquisition and improving customer retention for the MySchoolBucks platform. You will work with the VP of Software Marketing, Director of Digital Marketing, and the Lifecycle Marketing Manager to identify opportunities, implement campaigns, and measure success across multiple marketing channels.
What You’ll Do
Grow User Acquisition:
Develop and execute strategies to attract new users through paid, organic, and referral channels
Optimize campaigns for performance, focusing on cost-efficient growth
Identify and test new acquisition opportunities, including referrals, partnerships and emerging platforms
Drive MySchoolBucks User Retention & Engagement:
Implement initiatives to improve user retention, including personalized communications and loyalty programs
Analyze user behavior to identify churn risks and develop targeted interventions
Help implement SMS and in-app messaging engagement tools in the Braze platform
Increase Overall Value Per User:
Design strategies to increase user annual value by promoting additional MySchoolBucks services
Collaborate with marketing team to segment users and develop tailored upselling or cross-selling campaigns
Use data to continuously improve pricing user journeys and product offerings
Data-Driven Optimization:
Understand our users deeply to develop customer segments and personas based on detailed analytics & insights
Use analytics to track performance, identify growth opportunities, and adjust campaigns in real-time
Conduct A/B tests to improve marketing effectiveness and conversion rates
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy
Collaboration:
Engage our school district partners throughout the school year to serve as a distribution channel to drive user growth and target under-performing segments
Manage relationships with external vendors, and partners to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Present key findings and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
What You’ve Accomplished:
At least 4 years of growth marketing experience at B2B2C or B2C companies, including building out customer referral campaigns
You have experience across owned channels such as email, push, and in-app notifications - experience with Braze, Hubspot, and/or Tableau a plus
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
You have strong quantitative skills and are comfortable developing/refining strategies by exploring data
You have a strong understanding of engagement, retention, and campaign success metrics
You have experience with copywriting and brand-building, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
You have strong project management skills, and can work collaboratively across teams
You are up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
