BE PART OF OUR GROWING TEAM Your Role To act as a Customs Declarant / Broker on behalf of KN UK, including preparation and submission of import & export customs declarations and administrative tasks related to this. Your Responsibilities Manage the preparation and execution of import and export declarations according to customs regulations, laws, and procedures within the stakeholder countryOrganise and delegate the workflow and tasks to the team in alignment with the departmental and stakeholder requirements and goals Manage and review reports to track team and departmental performanceMaintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concernsCommunicates regularly with stakeholder as to productivity and quality performance and resolves challenges efficiently and effectivelyAbility and willingness to take ownership for resolution of enquiries and complaints from stakeholderPerforms daily quality checks to ensure high level of work quality and productivityConduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career developmentAssists in the training of new hires and ad-hoc system or customs topics where neededUnderstands new tasks and functions that are introduced and ensures instructions are understood by the teamEngages in the daily stand up/stand down meetings with the teamDevelops and implements new systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in conjunction with support functions for continuous improvement Your Skills and Experiences Bachelor of Science in Customs AdministrationManagerial ExperienceFluency in English -both Verbal & WrittenProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)At least 3 years' experience in a similar position in the pastPreferable to have operational knowledge of either airfreight, sea freight or road freight Good Reasons to Join We offer opportunities where you can grow your expertise, shape processes and deliver innovative solutions.
