GS Customs Team Lead
BE PART OF OUR GROWING TEAM **Your Role** To act as a Customs Declarant / Broker on behalf of KN AU, including preparation and submission of import & export customs declarations and administrative tasks related to this. **Your Responsibilities** + Manage the preparation and execution of import and export declarations according to customs regulations, laws, and procedures within the stakeholder country + Organise and delegate the workflow and tasks to the team in alignment with the departmental and stakeholder requirements and goals + Manage and review reports to track team and departmental performance + Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns + Communicates regularly with stakeholder as to productivity and quality performance and resolves challenges efficiently and effectively + Ability and willingness to take ownership for resolution of enquiries and complaints from stakeholder + Performs daily quality checks to ensure high level of work quality and productivity + Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development + Assists in the training of new hires and ad-hoc system or customs topics where needed + Understands new tasks and functions that are introduced and ensures instructions are understood by the team + Engages in the daily stand up/stand down meetings with the team + Develops and implements new systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in conjunction with support functions for continuous improvement **Your Skills and Experiences** + Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration + Managerial Experience + Fluency in English -both Verbal & Written + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) + At least 3 years' experience in a similar position in the past + Preferable to have operational knowledge of either airfreight, sea freight or road freight **Good Reasons to Join** We offer opportunities where you can grow your expertise, shape processes and deliver innovative solutions.
