**Overview** Pay: $17.00 an hour ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Safety Lead. This position will support the Safety Manager who is responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating the safety, health and environmental objectives, materials, and environments to achieve safety management effectiveness. **Basic Qualifications:** + Must be 21 years of age or older. + Possess a valid driver license. + No high school diploma, GED or college degree required. + Must have 2 years aviation/safety experience. **This will require the right candidate to have:** + Ability to effectively support a large aviation multi-site workforce. + Reliable – a record of being on time + Train new team members on ABM Safety Standards + Skills in relationship-building, teamwork, and collaboration. + Skilled in directing activities and operations of others, including activities involving hazardous situations. + Meticulous attention to detail, self-motivated, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. + Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment. + Must be a Great Ambassador for ABM – communication in a professional manner with Client and Custodians **In this fast-paced environment -You need to be able to:** + Lead regularly scheduled safety audits, risk assessments, inspections, training, and meetings to determine the effectiveness of safety and accident prevention activities. + Enforce policy and recognize desired behaviors. + Enforce policy, provide coaching, get expectations, and provide resources to the operating team to sustain successful operations. + Inspect buildings for safety. + Supervise, inspect, and perform tag work. + Solid history of safe work practices, following and enforcing company policies + Special projects and other duties as assigned.
