We have an immediate career\nopportunity for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Support Specialist (entry\nlevel) at our Erlanger, KY hub (CVG airport). As a GSE Support\nSpecialist, you will work closely with GSE Maintenance technicians,\nadministrative staff and parts room to learn current processes and\npractices. Once proficient the GSE\nSupport Specialist will work closely with the maintenance team in a number of\ncapacities. The position is ideally suited for individuals wishing to pursue a\ncareer in heavy maintenance and having the desire and drive to learn

Schedule is 1st shift WED - SAT (4 days\nper week)

\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSafety first focused approach to conducting\n workGeneral equipment\n operation/movement of ground support equipment, floor scrubber, fork lift,\n etc. Specialists will become\n familiar various equipmentGeneral industrial\n cleaning duties in and around GSE (building) shop to include pressure\n washing GSE support equipment, retrieving and returning equipment to/from\n various locations on the DHL ramp and in Sort buildings. Support specialist will be required to wear applicable personal protective equipment.Washing and detail all vehicles for appearance that are utilized in\n the operation.Learn basic maintenance concepts/practices and assist mechanics in\n completing workCompleting paperwork as\n needed\n

Skills & Qualifications:\n\n\n\n\tGood communication skills (written and verbal)\n\tGeneral computer skills \n\n\n\n\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\n

\n\n\n\tMust be at least 18 years of age\n\tMust be able to pass a 10-year background check and a drug screen\n\tAbility to lift 50 lbs consistently and 70 lbs occasionally\n\tAbility to stand for long periods, walk, bend, stoop and climb\n\tAble to work in heights of 10’ or more depending on task\n\tAbility to work in all weather conditions; hot /cold /rain and snow\n\tMust have a driver’s license with good driving record \n\tRequired to wear safety toe shoe/boots at all times\n\n\n
