Job Description

This position is responsible for being the primary responder for all phone calls and alarms from across ACE which come into the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). They will also assist with completion of other administrative requirements in the company's GSOC. This includes monitoring security and life safety systems; dispatching contract security personnel; monitoring guard training; preparing written reports; documenting daily activities; following standard operating procedures; and responding to security incidents.

Job Duties

Ensure GSOC Standard Operating Procedures are followed and any gaps in procedure identified.

Quickly respond to emergency situations based on available information, make appropriate notifications, initiate and follow emergency response procedures, and monitor events through resolution.

Serve as primary responder to all phone calls and alarms from across ACE.

Ensure all events, service requests, and visitor requests are inputted and tracked.

Identify threats to employees, facilities, and operations.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) is a 24/7 resource which provides assistance and services to all employees. This position will deal with all manners of calls, alarms, and reports in addition to numerous administrative tasks. This position will require making decisions which could impact a significant number of employees and will sometimes need to make decisions independently without input from management.


Qualifications

High School GED Required

less than 1 year Corporate facility security Preferred

Writing technical procedures and reports.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Follow Security policies.

Assess and quickly react to emergency situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.

Follow detailed, step by step, procedures.

Follow management priorities, take initiative, and exercise sound independent judgment.

Work independently without extensive direction or oversight.

Strong multi-tasking skills.

Detail-oriented focus.


Scope

Work is closely managed and reviewed for accuracy and adequacy. Follows specific, outlined, and detailed directions.

Provides resolution to problems that are readily identifiable with limited scope and are resolved in accordance with standard practices, procedures, applications or routines. Problem/Task resolution timeframe: The majority of tasks typically take one to two days to resolve.

Under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks only as instructed, subject to regular check of performance.

Individual Contributor

Failure to accomplish results can normally be overcome without significant effect on the organization.

Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor and others in group or department to give and receive information.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$17.33 - $23.11
