The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multimedia frameworks and a passion for creating efficient streaming solutions. This role involves developing, testing, and maintaining multimedia applications that leverage GStreamer for audio and video processing. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** + **Develop and Maintain:** Design, implement, and optimize multimedia applications using the GStreamer framework. + **Collaborate:** Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate multimedia features into existing applications. + **Troubleshoot:** Identify and fix bugs related to multimedia processing and streaming. + **Optimize Performance:** Enhance the performance of multimedia applications by implementing best practices and optimizing code. + **Documentation:** Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support code understanding and future development. + **Stay Updated:** Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in GStreamer and related technologies. **QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:** + **Educational Background:** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. + **Experience:** Proven experience working with GStreamer and a strong command of the C programming language. + **Technical Skills:** + Proficiency in Linux-based development environments. + Knowledge of multimedia codecs and formats. + Experience with version control systems like Git. + Familiarity with other programming languages such as Python or C++ is a plus. The base salary range for this position is $92,250 - $171,321, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
