**92528BR** **Job Title:** GT DevOps Developer - Decatur, IL **Department/Function:** Information Technology **Job Description:** **GT DevOps Developer - Decatur, IL** The DevOps Engineer Development I role is responsible for maintaining, enhancing/improving, implementing, and supporting the DevOps organizations. You will be supporting the teams using Microsoft Azure DevOps while providing guidance on best practices, standards and policies. The focus of this position will revolve around Work Management, Source Code Management, and Pipeline Management in working with customers throughout the company, primarily involving Microsoft Azure DevOps Services/Server and GitHub platforms and products. www.adm.com . This is an exempt level position. **Job Responsibilities** + Administratively maintain and support DevOps systems with minimal supervision + Embed with less knowledgeable end user teams to improve or reconcile their utilization of DevOps systems and practices + Create DevOps related documentation or training for others to utilize + Review and approve YAML code + Mentor and coach other team members + Provide status updates for completing stakeholder status reports + Create/Update automation processes/scripts + Administer DevOps related licensing + Work with Architectural resources in the creation or improvement of DevOps practices, patterns, and standards. + Complete tasks within specified deadlines + Understand the portfolio of opportunity and how we can successfully move the organization forward strategically **Job Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related field, plus 2-4 years of experience with Microsoft Application development or a related occupation in DevOps Development. **Must Have The Following Professional Skills/experience** + 2-4 years of experience as a Developer using DevOps practices + 2-4 years of experience as a Developer using DevOps Systems + 2-4 years of experience working with Build and Release automation + 2-4 years of experience working with GIT repositories + 2-4 years of experience in application analysis, design and n-tiered architectural patterns + 1-3 years of experience in administration of DevOps Systems + 1-3 years of experience using PowerShell, or an equivalent scripting language + 1-3 years of experience working with Agile and CMMI methodologies + 1-3 years of experience in Cloud Based Technologies and platforms + Extensive keyboard operations + Sitting for extended periods of time + Some travel required (up to 10%) + Perform on call duties + Work occasional weekends, holidays and overtime + 4 Year degree in IT related field or equivalent competency **Technical Requirements:** + Microsoft Azure DevOps Services/Server + Work Management + Source Code Management + Pipeline Management + Artifact Management + Understanding of the available APIs + Microsoft GitHub + Experience working within, or administering, a GitHub Organization + Understanding of the available APIs + Understanding of Policies, Workflows, Security, Actions & Runners + YAML + Understand how to write and debug YAML in Pipelines + Familiarity with standard Pipeline Tasks + Object oriented and/or script based languages + .Net and/or Java + JavaScript Frameworks (Angular, React, Node) + Python + PowerShell + Bash + Package Management Systems + NuGet + Node + Web Development + HTML, HTML5 + MVC, Bootstrap, or other similar frameworks + CSS, CSS5 + Database technologies + SQL Server + Understanding and experience with Stored Procedures, Indexes, Keys, Triggers and Tables + Containerization/Containers + Docker experience + Kubernetes experience a plus + Open Systems Development Skills + Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and CMMI methodologies + Understanding of CI/CD concepts + ARM, Bicep, Terraform, XML, XLST, XSD, SOAP, REST, WSDL Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
