Responsibilities Hudson Yards Experiences is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Guest Experience Supervisor to elevate the frontline operations for Edge. Reporting directly to the Manager of Guest Experience, this role is integral in leading our frontline team, managing daily operations, and delivering on our commitment to exceptional customer service. Collaborate with the Manager and Assistant Manager of Operations to attract, engage, and retain top talent, fostering a motivated and high-performing team. Support the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new team members. Provide comprehensive on-the-job training and continuous coaching to enhance team performance. Evaluate team effectiveness, offering constructive feedback and guidance to drive excellence. Champion a guest-centric culture by recognizing and rewarding exceptional team contributions. Serve as the manager on duty, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest interactions. Create and sustain an inspiring work environment through effective leadership, collaboration, and coordination. Manage opening and closing procedures, maintaining operational standards. Complete special projects as directed by the Managerial and Executive teams. Qualifications Minimum of two years of leadership experience in a reputable hospitality or customer service environment. Proven track record in managing large frontline teams and utilizing ticketing systems. Demonstrated passion for delivering outstanding service and a positive, solution-oriented mindset. Strong leadership skills with a commitment to building a collaborative and engaging team culture. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Resilient under pressure, with the ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-stress situations. Ability to stand and climb stairs for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Hudson Yards Experiences grooming guidelines. Familiarity with New York City and the local neighborhood is a plus. Must be available to work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Desirable: Experience working in customer service in a large 1 million + visitor attraction. Experience with Gateway Galaxy ticketing system. This position will be based in New York City and working across all HYE visitor attractions. Edge, is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, with a one-of-a-kind design. It’s suspended in mid-air, giving guests the feeling of floating in the sky with 360 degree views they can’t get anywhere else. Vessel is a new kind of public landmark. Engaging and interactive, the centerpiece of the Hudson Yards Public Square and Gardens is meant to be climbed and explored with others. City Climb is the highest outdoor ascent in the world!
