The Opportunity:

The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is looking for a talented Guest Recognition Specialist! To provide guests with the highest level of personal service and recognition through storing and sharing customer information.  Provide the preference most meaningful for guests, and to expedite check-in.  Guest Recognition Specialist will also ensure the integrity of the local database and provide support to the Reservations Sales Staff and Marketing Department.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Profile Enrichment - It is the responsibility of the GRS to update all aspects of the guest’s profile to enhance Guest Recognition on property.

Pre Arrival Review - On a daily basis, the GRS is responsible for ensuring that all departments have the information they need, preparing them for every arriving guest. The GRS must review all guest reservations and profiles daily to prepare for arrivals using the Pre-Arrival screen in Opera.

Post Stay Review - Review glitches, correspondence & Qualtrics to enrich the guest’s profile post stay

Profile Management Expert - The Guest Recognition Specialist is the guest profile and preference expert, fully trained and familiar with all aspects of profile management.

Communication and Training, as the expert for guest profiles and preferences, the GRS must provide ongoing communication to key departments on audit results, upcoming initiatives and training.

Maintain KPIs - the Guest Recognition Scorecard provides key hotel indicators and highlights low performing areas.

Assist with all guest inquiries within the reservations department, including assisting with high telephone volume, reservation calls/cleanings, chats, etc.

Designated Profile Trainer – review all processes and procedures with all new employees in Reservations, Front Desk, or Residence Club.

Provide support to the Group Coordinators by helping with overflow work, running rooming lists, entering group blocks, completing attrition.

Work harmoniously with reservations department to effectively assist in Pre-arrival communication and booking outlet/activities.

Who We Look For:

The ideal candidate will have:

Comprehensive computer and analytical skills

1-year previous reservations experience

Knowledge of Operations front/back of house

Superior guest service and salesmanship skills

Work well under pressure, multitasking and team player

Detail oriented organizational skills and thinks strategically

The ability to multi task effectively

The ability to work in a fast paced environment handling multiple guest calls consecutively

Comfort with Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn other computer software suites necessary for the role.

Flexible with scheduling although this position will primarily be Tuesday to Saturday
