Job DescriptionWe are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the face of our organization, ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out in our vibrant, multicultural environment.
Provide a warm welcome and process efficient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate completion of all necessary paperworkRespond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests, both in person and over the phone, while handling concerns with empathyAssist with room reservations, upgrades, and special arrangements, coordinating with other departments as neededMaintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local Dubai attractions to provide informed assistance to guestsProcess payments and handle cash transactions accurately while promoting and upselling hotel services when appropriateEnsure the lobby and reception area are clean, organized, and presentable at all timesAssist with administrative tasks such as preparing reports and maintaining guest records
QualificationsOpera experiencePrevious experience in hospitality or customer service preferredExcellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plusStrong interpersonal and customer service skills with a friendly demeanorAbility to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in computer systems and hotel management softwareFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysKnowledge of local attractions and cultural sensitivity to interact with diverse guestsEnthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service
