Job Description

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. NH Maldives Kuda Rah employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

Audit and reconcile daily sales transactions of front desk and all outlets, balance all cash registers, balance department dockets and cash, balance department revenue. Report variances and discrepancies as per hotel policy.Ensure front desk is organized in accordance with the Guest Experience Manager’s instructions and all necessary reports, batches are printed prior to rollover procedure.Inhouse credit report/ Inhouse rate check prior to the night auditNext day arrivals and TMA schedule to be check and report to Front Office Manager on daily basisAnswer switchboard and assist guests with overseas telephone enquiriesShare daily resorts such as Daily revenue report, flash food cost, Cancelation & no- show report as per the resort requirement.

QualificationsProfessional body background of finance – partly qualifiedPrevious experience in hotel front desk operations or accounting rolesExperience using hotel property management systems – Opera / PMSFamiliarity with night audit procedures and reporting.Handling guest inquiries, check-ins/outs, and issue resolution professionally.Proficiency in hotel management software, Excel, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.Ability to work independently and resolve issues efficiently during night shifts.Clear written and verbal communication with staff and guests.Efficiently handling multiple tasks overnight with minimal supervision.Performing end-of-day accounting processes and generating financial reports.Ensuring accuracy of guest folios and resolving billing discrepancies.Managing front desk operations and assisting guests overnight.Monitoring hotel security and emergency procedures.
