Guest Service Agent/Night Audit (Franchise)

The franchised La Quinta by Wyndham location in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Guest Service Agent/Night Audit (Franchise) to join its team at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites Columbus West.
**The Role**
+ Accommodate hotel, motel, and patrons by:
+ registering and assigning rooms to guests
+ issuing room keys or cards
+ transmitting and receiving messages
+ keeping records of occupied rooms and guests' accounts
+ making and confirming reservations
+ presenting statements and collecting payments from our guests
**What you'll do**
+ Greet and welcome guest to our hotel
+ Register guests and or check-out
+ Collect secure payments
+ Handle guests request and needs during your shift
+ Answering switchboard and providing knowledge of hotel room types
+ Follow up calls to guests one checked-in
+ Successful completion of all signed front desk duties required by brand
+ Enroll new guests in rewards programs
+ Front desk and lobby clean at all times throughout your shift.
+ Balancing front desk drawer each shift
**You'll be successful if you have**
+ Basic math and computer skills
+ Attentive
+ Maintaining proper uniform and all times
+ Flexible availability to learn all front desk shifts.

**Required Qualifications/Experience**
+ English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
+ Public Safety and Security - Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
+ Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
+ Computers and Electronics - Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
+ Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people
