Job Description

Reporting to the Front Desk Manager and Guest Services Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

Provide outstanding service to our internal and external guestsAssist with tour check-ins and greet the tour guide and groups when requiredGenerate reports for other departments in the hotelKey member of crisis & emergency teamRegister and checkout hotel guestsAct as an ambassador of Fairmont Château LaurierGreet, check in and settle guest accounts while ensuring all service standards are followedAssist Leadership in performing daily dutiesAvailable evenings, weekends and holidaysAvailable to work overnight shift, when requiredFollow all safety policiesOther duties as assigned
Qualifications
Fluent in both official languages (English and French) is a requirementPrevious Front Desk Agent experience in a similar environmentExcellent verbal and written skillsMust have the ability to handle cash effectively and accuratelyComputer literate with exposure to Opera, Property Manager and Delphi, Word and Excel is preferableActive listener, self-starterAble to make decisions and take initiativeAbility to type 40 words per minutePositive and pleasant attitudeAble to work aloneStrong team playerDetail orientedMust be able to work in a very busy environment
