Jumeirah Creekside is a contemporary lifestyle hotel located 2km from Dubai International Airport in the heart of old Dubai. Set in landscaped grounds overlooking Dubai Creek, the hotel offers 292 rooms and suites, 21 meeting rooms, four restaurants, an award-winning spa and access to sports and leisure complex, The Aviation Club. About the Job:

To be the main point of contact for the guests upon arrival until their departure and to handle all enquiries throughout their stay in a friendly and effective manner always striving to exceed expectations and keeping in mind ‘Everything Considered’. Provide guests a unique and outstanding experience. Exhibit a friendly and professional demeanor in all guest interactions, warmly welcome and orient guests and provide effective and efficient guest service.

Must possess extensive knowledge of respective domain (Spa, Health Club, Front Office Operations & Experience Team) answer all queries associated with facilities, products, and services to all members/guests.  Guide, promote and upsell product and services associated with respective domain (Spa, Health Club, Front Office Operations & Experience Team) where applicable thus contributing to increase sales and repeat business. Answer phones and use applications as per respective domain to handle bookings, scheduling and billing.

 

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

Providing check in/check out assistance. Assisting in pre-registration activities or extended stay requests. Manage Group bookings and check in and check out following standard protocols as applicable to respective domains. Courteously answer all incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner. Answer all email queries in a professional manner, following standard turnaround time and email etiquettes. Accurately and professionally communicate rates associated with facilities, products, and services from respective domain (spa & health club for membership etc., front office for rooms etc. & experience team for tours etc.), utilize suggestive selling techniques, demonstrate advantages, and create value for our guests. Maintain Knowledge in all aspects of facilities, products, and services, associated program, and reservations for respective domain (Spa, Health Club, Front Office & Experience Team). Always maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor while providing personalized service to guests and frequent travelers. Greet and serve guests in person or by phone and assist them with bookings and enquiries. Greet and serve guests while arriving or departing, provide orientation to facilities etc. Managing payments via cash, credit, or debit cards. Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no details of the guests are disclosed to anybody. Continually strive to improve the procedures in respective domains. Attend all training sessions and meetings on a consistent and regular basis. Identify and anticipate guest’s needs and assist in any possible way, keeping in mind Heart of Jumeirah standards. Ensure that all complaints are promptly attended to and check with the guest for Feedback. Reports on working on time and adhering to Jumeriah grooming standards.  Ensure adherence to departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions enabling delivery of luxurious service to guests and in line with Jumeirah standard of excellence Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment procedures, instructions, and controls Adhere to the below responsibilities as per respective domain:  

Spa & Health Club 

Assist guests with Towels, bathrobes, sandals, and amenities across the spa.  Maintain knowledge of use of equipment and their upkeep and maintenance. Use equipment  only as intended.  Anticipate guests/member’s needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge them, Assist guests in the following areas as required based on operating and safety guidelines: Locker room Salon Health Club Assist in the preparation of reports including and not limited to the below:  Monthly reports Spa pick up OTB email database and VIP guest attendance record Supports and participates in all initiatives that help achieve results in revenue and quality of the spa and fitness.

 

About you: 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Previous 5 Star Luxury Hospitality experience Strong Communication Skills Team Player - Collaborates positively and effectively with others and team  Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and processes  Time Management/ Adherence to schedule

Secondary Education PMS – Opera Time Management Handle stress well Multi-skilled and able to multi-task List below

 

Experience

2 years front desk experience in a 5-star Hotel
