We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Barclays Center Arena team in Brooklyn, NY! The intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to various projects. This position is designed to provide exposure to different aspects of our organization and offers a dynamic learning environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: What You Will Do
Customer Interaction:
Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
Provide accurate information about services, facilities, events, or offerings.
Administrative Support:
Handle reservations, bookings, or ticketing as needed.
Maintain organized records of guest interactions and reports.
Assist with check-in/check-out processes or registration tasks.
Event Assistance:
Support the planning and execution of guest-related events or activities.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth event operations.
Facility Management:
Monitor the cleanliness and organization of public spaces or facilities.
Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with team members and supervisors to enhance guest experiences.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, or evaluations.
CANDIDATE PROFILE: Who You Are
The Guest Services Intern supports the Guest Services team in delivering exceptional experiences for customers, clients, or visitors. This role provides hands-on experience in hospitality, customer service, and operations, fostering skills in communication, organization, and problem-solving.
KEY COMPETENCIES: Skills You Possess
Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and poise.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of reservation systems is a plus.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
