Guest Services Manager - Hilton San Diego Bayfront

The breathtaking San Diego waterfront property is searching for a Guest Service Manager to join the housekeeping team.

\n

The 30-story hotel with 1190 hotel rooms and 170,000 sq ft of meeting space offers a unique urban coastal experience for every guest.

\n

The position oversees Bell Desk, Concierge, Recreation and works closely with Valet Department.

\n

The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in hospitality and management, preferably within the hotel industry, and be flexible with their schedule. Union experience is strongly preferred.

\n

The hourly position for this rate is:  $36.50 to $36.50

What will I be doing?

\n


As Guest Services Manager, you would be responsible for managing the Guest Services operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nManage all Guest Service operations to include, but not limited to, guest luggage and package storage and delivery, message delivery, valet and parking services, gratuity distribution, systems management, budget and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation\nOversee daily operations in all Guest Services departments\nManage administrative projects and ensure adherence to established quality standards\nMonitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward\nMonitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly\nRecruit, interview and train team members\n
