Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for the test & commissioning (T&S) of CCS & DCS projects, M&D Projects, any other GA related projects Responsible for the resource planning of the FS commissioning team.Manage the workload of the projects to ensure 90% and above billable ratioLiaise with other members of a multidisciplinary teamSupport to Operations team to Control projects effectively in terms of budgeted profitability, planning, and general reporting (internal / external). Ensure that agreements with customer for documentation lead times, delivery, reliability and quality are achieved within the budgetary constraints agreed within the Unit.Follow workplace EHS issues and ensure availability of suitable PPE for T&C personnel, both internal and subcontracted.Manage and secure approval as well as renewal of approvals of T&C engineers from key accountsEnsure commitments to customer are met in accordance with contract with clear feedback through consistent customer interaction, e.g. communication, (phone, e-mail, etc.) and customer meetings, periodic reviews etc.Implementation of ServiceMax

Required Qualifications

Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related discipline3+ plus years relevant Field Service experience preferably DS Agile and protection experiencePMP certification is an advantage but not compulsory.Knowledge of schemes and application of protection relays in electrical networks including HV & EHV systems, and state-of-the-art technologies in substation automationGood oral / written communicationAbility to read / interpret tender / contract documentation, schematics, procedures and policy guidelinesAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to define problems, collect relevant data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsAbility to work on multiple tasks and to meet strict deadlines.Experience of managing projects for protection and control systems is a distinct advantage

Desired Characteristics

Knowledge of GA products and systems, especially AutomationGood oral / written communication skills in Technical English, Arabic is an advantage, but not compulsoryTime management skills.
